I am needing to find out what type amp is powering these subs.
PSW 202
PSW 250
PSW 303

I've had issues with class D amps and interference, so im hoping any of these 3 are using a class A/B amp to power it. Deuce

I don't really know if anyone has that info unless they own these and have opened them up. My suggestion is call up Polk Customer Service and see if they have someone there who knows!

Affecting radio reception. I had a Velodyne, didnt matter where i put it, it put out interference. I called Velodyne, found out sub was a class D. Back to the store it went.

Tried an Energy sub, same issue. Contacted C.S., they said sub was a class D. Back went that sub.

Tried a friends Polk psw 110, no interference! Also, the Polk uses a class A/B amp.

I thought Polk C.S. monitored this link. I guess ill have to give them a call.

They do monitor this part of the forum, but you're asking about subs that aren't sold anymore I don't think. That's weird that you got the same problem with all those different subs:confused: Do you live really close to a tower? I'm not sure, but isn't that usually indicative of some sort of poor ground issue?

Problem was with the 2 subs that used class D amps. The Polk of my friend, did not cause interference, and it used a class A/B amp.

I had read on the net about this issue. I'm one of the unlucky ones to have this problem.

    Also, no tower near me.

I've had a couple class D subs with no such problems. But who knows...give the boys a call?
