PSW505 Dead Already?

Hi all, My psw505 keeps blowing the fuse so I imagine the amplifier is dead. Have to wait for tuesday for the CS dept.
It's only 5 months old and it gets used on average twice a week.
I spent a decent amount of change on a complete Polk setup and Onkyo reciever, and I got to say that I expected better from a Polk sub.

I'm hoping their customer service lives up to their reputation. It's pretty sad that I have a 10 year old sony powered sub in the shop that gets beat on kicked around and generally abused and is still happily cranking away and this Polk sub can't even handle half a year of only infrequent, minimal volume use.

Sorry about the ranting but it does kind of suck being subless, already.

Hmm, surprising..I generally hear nothing but positive things about Polk subs. But then again, there is no such thing as a flawless manufacture line with things that are mass-produced, so maybe you just got a "lemon". From what I hear about Polk CS, I think they will take care of you. Let us know what happens.

+1, have heard people raving about this sub, but looks like it was just your luck. Polk CS will take care of you, they stand behind their products. Sucks being with out the boom, but you will be back up and running in no time. Give em a call and don't forget to mention you are a forum member here, and welcome to Club Polk.
