Got a KAid dishwasher and has issue with this 7 blinking clean cycle mode:mad:. Per my research, the heating element could be the candidate for this cause but I have no clue on how to check the amp if it's really at fault or not. Visually it looks good and the surface is smooth and no sign of bump to cause it to fail. Other factors are the door switch (checked, it's good), controller (checked) and water source (I doubt it, not checked), filter-clogged issue (un checked). Any Appliance Guru POLK breed out here to give me a helping brain.

Cheers
Godspeed,

Break out a meter and read the heater element, I'm thinking in the range of >40 ohms or so. Power off please first.

Problem with the dishwasher ? Smack her on the butt and tell her, "A little less yap-yap, and a little more scrubby-scrubby".

"7 blinking lights" sounds like an error code? Which could be a monitoring switch is not satisfied; It may be a pressure switch in the sump/ pump housing saying that it's safe to turn on the pump or heat?
Really need more info. and a schematic to tell ya more.
    Sorry
