Two Channel stereo and TV

This may be a dumb question, but I do need some expert advice. How do I configure a two channel vintage stereo unit(Sansui) to get audio from my TV? The back of the receiver only has inputs for a tape player and/or a phonograph. I do have the speakers. [/B]

just plug it in the tape input, the only one that won't work properly is the phonograph. Just because its says tape dose not mean thats all you can plug into it, you can plug any thing from cds to a blu-ray player into that input and it will sound fine. (just make sure white gos to white and red to red and if its not color coded white gos to Left and red to right)Monitor 60s, CS10 front

Thanks, I will try that . It does make sense. I will let you know how I made out.:

If the tv audio outputs are variable, you may have remote volume also (only over the tv signal).

We're assuming, of course that your TV does have L/R RCA OUTS! RIGHT??
Without those you'll need another soluton like a VCR or a Cable box with audio OUTS!
