Welcome Amherst, as I agreed to elsewhere, use the CSiA6. For HT duty, you might like it better, for 2 channel it doesn't matter. You can always score an LSiC down the road. As you can probably tell, AVS is a forum...lot's of differing viewpoints and levels of knowledge. CP, while technically a forum too, is more of a club, with a ton of detailed knowledge about Polks with more than an "odor" of personality. It can be alot of fun or alot of pain depending...;). Stick around and we'll spend your next paycheck.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

wutadumsn23 & Kex make many good points. I've preached to many outside this forum the value of staying inside a given speaker line regardless of brand goes a long way to reaching your goals

    cheers

Seems to me from all the responses, that I have found a crowd that really likes to spend the cash! Please don't mention this to my wife.
Anyhow, you guys can't break something that is already there!

Thanks Again to all for the solid advise.

To answer the Joysey location questions: We reside in a little town called Audubon. Nestled smack dab between exits 3 and 4. Familiar?

Ron, it is excellent to cross paths again. I do seem to detect something with the senses... Umm, very familiar... is that soup that is cooking?

Is that close to the coast or the Garden State Parkway? I'm not from Jersey....but I grew up on the Pa. boarder and also lived in Madison for a year--talk about real estate prices....wheeeeee! We couldn't afford anything there...not even a garage! In Madison N.J. OUTRAGEOUS prices. My house in Maine would be worth over 750,000 dollars down there! It's NOT worth anywhere near that up north!

Welcome to the club...from the early reaction you got I thought you were a 'woman'...as the some guys above almost seemed to be drooling? Lol..

Yeah this is a DANGEROUS SITE! KEEP OUT...FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!

My location puts us a 10 min. ride over the bridge into south Philadelphia.
If you think the real estate prices are high the yearly taxes actually would gag a horse, they cost more than the mortgage itself!

It's my pleasure George, I remember well, so I guess we each have been dated.

TNRabbit, I have time now so a good technical read may be in order.

    Oh, welcome to the madness.

Construction has pretty much come to a screeching halt around here. The only people semi busy in my business are imported from another land. At this point the state could gladly have their take!
