Antivirus / Office for Ubuntu?

This doesn't solve your immediate problem - but I installed open office on my machine at work as well as my Windows PC at home - they have a windows compatible version - and that is all I use - Microsoft gets no play here.
Other programs to look into are "Gimp" - which I am using now instead of photoshop - and inkscape - which I am using instead of adobe illustrator - if anyone wants really good image editing and page layout software - these are quickly becoming a close second to the adobe creative suite.
Good luck - there is nothing more enjoyable then a computer that works well. -
