i purchased TSi300 last month from best buy. i have had them hooked up and they have both worked perfectly for a month. right now i am listening to music and i listen to a lot of hip hop so bass is important and i have this rattling noise coming from the one front. i took the front cover off to look at the speakers and everything looks fine except that the very top speaker just makes a rattling noise.

i have no clue what the problem is and im not too familiar with speakers so idk if it is blown, or maybe just screwed in tight enough, or if it is just a whole different problem and hopefully my warranty would cover it. i dont think i have turn it up loud enough to blow it but im not sure. it looks fine and still delivers a decent sound but from every bass hit a rattle comes along with it.

help me please!!!

p.s. the other front is perfectly fine and still sounds good.

Not sure, a blown woofer/tweeter shouldn't cause a rattling noise, so I don't think it is that. If you can't see anything wrong from the outsde, it may be internal. The 300's aren't going to put out a lot of bass, so I think a sub would be a good idea for you. If you push the 300's too hard hoping for lots of bass, all you will have is a couple of paperweights when you blow them up, lol. Give Polk CS a call and explain your situation, they will take care of you. I can't stress enough the importantance of a sub if you want bass, those 300's just aren't going to cut it. Hope this helps and welcome to Club Polk.
