How to get RC80i grilles off without damaging them?
I want to position the tweeters on my RC80i's that I am using for surrounds...I would have done it before but I had someone install them for me and forgot to tell him to leave them off...so now they are installed in the ceiling
I tried a paper clip in one of the holes but it just "dented" the grill when I pulled...has anyone else found a way to do it safely?

You can use a paper clip but you have to get it into the holes where it bends into the speaker, this area is strong. Pull gently and just go around the speaker a few times. Don't try to get it all the way out in one area , little by little. Once you get the hang of it you'll get them out with ease.Dan

So you mean find holes as close as possible to the ceiling? I'll try it...thanks...
In case I screw it up is it possible to get grill replacements from Polk? -
No man the grill is flat which covers the speaker then it bends to go inside the speaker to hold itself in, at this bend is where you wanna pull from. It's very strong there. Easy does it.Dan
