Notable volume increase with audience npise

I just installed the SurroundBar 360 with a PSWi225 sub woofer. I am having an issue with every t.v. show that has a live audience or sitcom laugh track. The volume of the audience/laugh track overwhelms the voice audio of the show that I am watching. The volume increase is not coming from the sub-woofer, but from the 360.
I am also experiencing volume varying up and down during commercials. This did not occur with my native Samsung 750 volume.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
