Newegg survey

I have run across some buyers who bought different products from Newegg and have some issues and I would like to have some survey among Newegg customers.
I tried Newegg 2 times and and both times I have had some minor issues with the line of products they sell. (1) The Sanus AFB audio rack came with some chip and minor crack on one of the shelf. (2) the Polk Audio SB 360 with input issues.
There is no doubt about Newegg's good pricing and fast shipping but by reading some of the customers' reviews that make me wonder that Newegg has been selling B stock without full disclosure.
This is no way to shoot down their business but just a survey and in no doubt, I know there are a lot of happy customers who enjoy the aggressive pricing from Newegg. You feedback is fully appreciated.

Please read my thread carefully with the "B stock" part. Thank you. -
There wasn't one. He's just bashing newegg for his personal experiences, which is understandable. Majority will rule since they usually have good experiences with them.

There have been several threads about New Egg............use the search function and you'll find your answer as well as my survey answer.

Please define " BASHING". What's part of my thread is considered bashing? -
It wasn't positive so you were "Bashing" them by implying they're selling B-stock as new. Which we all know is an illegal activity.Main Surround -

So if Pioneer have a bad batch of the BDP 51fd and the consumers's complaints are considered BASHING? I think NOT. Pio understand the issues with Pio bdp51fd and they have made an effort to correct the issue. Since when a consumer is not allow to express his or her feedback either negative or positive? Criticism is not a negative way to shoot down a business but rather a way to improve any weakness of a business entity.

My bad. I was looking for a question mark.
I doubt newegg is doing that. They're good about giving full disclosure.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

No, that's not................but insinuating they are selling "B stock" with no substantiation is a form of bashing.

Thank you. My fault. I am not angry at Newegg since my trial with them just for small chump of " change". I am looking " out of the box" than frame myself within a vision of a square box or a tunnel vision. No business entity is perfect and no line of products are perfect, if a person or a business entity cannot handle a criticism, there is something wrong with the "EGO" issue. -

Well, for example... check out their computer component section. They list refurb, open box, b-stock, etc etc etc... I doubt they would limit themselves just to Polk speakers if they were to try to screw us. They make the bulk of their money off the Computer stuff, wouldn't make sense just to mislead people on the speakers.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Well, I have run across a few consumers who bought the Onkyo receivers from Newegg having bad experience and I was hit with 2 items that was not in a A stock condition that I would like to raise the question so I could make a decision wheter I would do business with them in the future.
As I said , No doubt in my mind that Newegg has a very agrressive pricing and fast shipping but I's rather recieved the items I ordered in good working condition if I have to pay a bit more. -
I bought my Onk from them. No problems whatsoever.-Kevin

These consumers are known to you? Family, friends, co-workers? They have an OVERWHELMING track record of excellent customer service and practices. I've seen people bald face lie on feedback so take it with a grain of salt. Sometimes people have axes to grind and will not give a positive comment even if NewEgg had nothing to do with the issues.
I am sorry that you had issues, but I bet NewEgg took care of them ASAP with no add'l cost to you.
I have had similar circumstances at Best Buy and Circuit City.
In the end YOU have to decide based on YOUR experiences with said company. There are companies in town I refuse to business with simply because of repeated issues to me personally...........I have friends and family who have never had any issues and continue to use them and get great CS.

It's okay to have my **** kicked. I am a straight shooter and I said what I have in my mind, no BS around.
It's great to hear that most or all of you guys have good experience with them except myself ( 2 in a row).
Anyway, as they say " **** happens" just for me "**** happens" twice before Xmas is not a good thing to experience.:D -

Yeah, I got my Onkyo TX-NR1007 from them, as well as a pair of Monitor 30s. Absolutely flawless condition, and very fast shipping. I've ordered things from there at least 20 times in the past year or so and have yet to have an issue.Equipment list:

Newegg's the best place for computer parts on planet Earth. I've bought from them for years without a problem... laptops, Xbox, PSP, video cards, HDD's, Mobo's, etc. Perfect every time.
Hopefully nothing has changed there of late to ruin a great online retailer like Newegg.SystemLuxman L-590AXII Integrated Amplifier|KEF Reference 1 Loudspeakers|PS Audio Directream Jr|Sansui TU-9900 Tuner|TEAC A-6100 RtR|Nakamichi RX-202 Cassette -

To me, the acid test is when an order goes wrong and how the company deals with it ( and the customer)
Last spring, I decided to use Tigerdirect to build a desktop P.C. from scratch based on an Intel dually and a new Intel board just off the presses, along with a last year's hotrod Nvidia card.
As it turned out, that board was not ready for prime time. In such a scenario, you're gonna maybe have boot issues, RAM issues, video issues, odd stuff trying to diagnose.
About 6 RMA's later, I changed the board to an Asus that was stable, and mostly end of problems, except the Power Supply had died by then.
The process overall was infuriating, and 1 time during all that a sales rep with Tiger was shirty and I jumped down his throat.
This was an Intel issue all the way. Tigerdirect and Newegg both sell huge volumes and offer killer deals, and sometimes some of the stuff they put out ( like the case I bought which had a duff P.S.) is cheap because it's Chinese junk.
As I say, 1 conversation I had with them along the way was bad, the rest of the time they were standup. It was a hairpuller for me and took weeks to do something that should have been a few days, but I have a kickass P.C. now that has been worry free since then.
I know they lost $ on the deal overall, just in terms of shipping. -
Newegg is the first, and usually last, place that I go when shopping for computer components. I've never had a problem with them, their products, or their service.
-
I got a VM-20 for center use from them at the low,low price of $179.00(IIRC) , and am going to order a Panny TC-P50G10 plasma TV from them in the next day or two. As long as I buy with a credit card....I have a lot of protection in case a deal goes South, in that I just tell the CC company"I ain't payin this !";)

Well some cannot take 1's experience for what its worth. I personally have had issues with returns and damaged products and newegg for a fact will leave you holding the bag as far as a problem. Once it finally happens to them they are tightlipped. If you spend a couple of bucks a year and dont see problems thats great you can praise them. But when lotsa money is thrown around you start realizing they have issues. It will come around. -
Interesting.... i've spent well over $20k with them over the years, and not had one issue with their customer service, or really... anything at all.
I mean, yeah... i've had DOA motherboards come, but newegg has no control over this, and they RMA'd without giving me a hassle at all.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

I've spent a lot of money there since they first started and never had a problem till this month.
For Christmas I received a external hard drive that appears to have taken a big drop, none of the terminals on the back matched up with the holes in the case. No big deal, send it back, receive another, same thing. I'm thinking a whole pallet of these took a fall and it would be nice if they stopped sending them out."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. Yes, very interesting. I am a shallow person so when I order something no matter how much or how little the price tags are, I want new condition that means no scracth, dents or chips. If I want dents, dings merchandise I would buy used or clearance items.
Like they say third time is shame on me. So I just ordered the Def Tech Mythos sound bar from Vann's, the good people of internet dealer.
I am so glad that I have received my Onkyo 876, the Am 40 wall mount brackets from J & R and 2 pair of VTF 31' speaker stands from Rackandstands without any comestic defective.
New egg has the fast shipping and agressive pricing but I probably will order from them small items to avoid any mishap .
I am glad that Newegg has a lot of satisfied customer. -

Perfectly understood, though. If i want new, that's what i expect.
That's what i've gotten from them, though.
Maybe they're getting too big for their own good? Wouldn't be the first time it's happened to a company.
I'll be putting a large order through to them within the next month, we'll see what happens.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Again, I have no intetion to shoot down any business operation but as a buyer I have a right to xpress my opinion and the fact other others may or may not be facing the same situation I am in. That's all.
Funny thing is I received a pair of Energy RC 70 from Vann's kast month and the RC 70 is quite heavy butthe pair came in with perfect new condition.:)
