PSW1000 stopped working last night!
I was changing channels on the tv when i heard the sub make a noise. It started making a clicking sound every second until i ran and turned off the power switch. The green indicator light is working but no sound. This happened last week but after turning the power off and back on....no problem. I connected the 1000 to another system but still no sound. IS THERE A INTERNAL FUSE THAT I CAN CHECK ? The power connections are tight. Thanks for any thoughts before it goes to the shop.

Sorry to hear of your issue. Yes, if memory serves there is a fuse. It may be behind the back plate. That said, after reading your description of how it went down, I believe that there is a bigger issue with it than just a fuse. You may want to try calling Polk customer Service ASAP.

Polk CS is very good at resolving this type of issue. They fixed a sub amp for me quickly and I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost. The only bummer if you're not in Southern CA is that you have to ship the amp for service. Hopefully it's an easy fix you can do yourself; if not, you're in good hands with Polk.
