Replacement tweeters

I am looking to replace the tweeters in my old RSL speakers. I have found a pair on Ebay that are the correct mounting frame size but have the wrong impedance. My old tweets are 3.6 ohms while the new ones are 8 ohms. Can I add a resistor in line to increase the ohm rating with messing up the sound from the new tweeters? Thanks!
