Well, Elin Nordegren seems to be on the way to being single...

...now's your chance to date a super model worth half a billion or more! She has kids though so that might be a deal killer for some. But the prenup said she was only supposed to get 70 million if she left. But I haven't heard about it saying anything if he is unfaithful. That means a court battle and with the damning evidence of 18 or more affairs in their short marriage, things don't bode well for Tiger.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/16/tiger-woods-divorce-wife_n_393772.html

It sucks that a marriage is destroyed and a family is torn apart. But at the same time, all the bragging that his father did about what he "taught" him, you'd think a little decency, loyalty and common respect would have been on the list of lessons.

I feel bad for her even if it was just a business relationship. But as soon as the lame excuse surfaced about the Cadillac's window and a golf club, it was only a matter of time for the snowballing to start and for his world to come crumbling down.

Apparently his dad cheated on his mom too. Not that it makes things any better or justified, but he did do everything his dad taught him.

Yes, but Tiger is the athlete of the decade...under the loose interpretation of golf as a sport. I know this if off-subject, but I think what Brett Favre or Tom Brady have accomplished over the past decade as athletes is much more impressive.

Brett Favre should have won by a large margin in my opinion. But just look at what happened with the Nobel Peace Prize what a joke. The powers take great things and turn them political thus ruining it.

I don't really have any opinion on the matter except to say that I would definitely hit Elin given the chance. She is absolutely gorgeous in my book. And... she has a twin.

It depends on how you'd define Athlete of the Decade. If it's defined by dominance or what you do for your sport, then nobody has done more for their sport than Tiger has for Golf. If it's defined by pure athletic ability, then it's probably going to be some guy in Kenya or some remote part of the world who hunts lions or something...

I'm truly shocked by the continued obsession with this story. Tiger has been on the cover of the NY Post for 19 consecutive days now I think, the whole 9/11 tragedy only held space on the cover for 45 days. Think about that.

I think Tiger just fell for his own myth. He actually started believing in his invincibility. I can raise my game and beat anyone on most given days, common everyday rules don't apply to me, I'm God. I think he just lost touch with reality.

Be interesting to see what happens with the pre-nup! In some states it's pretty hard to undo or modify them unless she can prove she signed under duress or false pretenses. If there's clauses about infidelity in it, then Tiger's not too smart!

I don't even care! Let her walk away with half of everything. There's still a LOT of money left. Then Tiger can have a new playmate in every city. I think the only reason that it's been made such a big deal is because of his squeaky clean image. He's a person and he can make mistakes too.

I'm with you... I would have totally stopped at five. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN????

Some food for thought - I wonder if Elin would have ever allowed Tiger to putt on her green if he didn't have the money and/or power. Something tells me that charming smile would have only takin' him so far in life...
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

What's your point. if she wasn't absolutely gorgeous, you think Tiger would marry her? and nope, you'd never have a chance

Super model? You must be joking. Where'd you get that? She had a few small time modeling gigs, but to say she was a "super model" or even that she had a serious modeling career, is like saying that Mike Tyson had a successful career as a motivational speaker because he spoke at a few high schools.

Elin Nordegren was a live-in baby sitter (nanny) when she met Tiger Woods. Who goes from being a "super model" to a nanny? A nanny is no different from any other live-in domestic help like maids, cooks, butlers, grounds keepers, and chauffeurs.

Actually, the kinds of women a lot of these highly talented and highly paid pro athletes associate with and marry says a lot about the low level of their mentality. I never seem to read or hear of doctors, lawyers or engineers marrying nannys or cocktail waitresses. Pro athletes seem to pick from that pool quite often. I assume such women are more in awe of their "celebrity" status.

I would be extremely insulted if I went to a professional colleague's home and he offered to introduce me to his maid, nanny or cook as a prospective dating partner...no matter how nice a personality she had or how gorgeous her physical appearance. The only reason I would expect to be introduced to the "help" is so I would know whose name to call in the event that I needed something.

I believe that Most men look for a mate that is attractive physically, especially uneducated men. I believe that Most women look for a mate that can provide for them, especially uneducated women. If you are a doctor lawyer engineer etc your pool of women to choose from as a mate is increased substantially, why would you choose an attractive poor uneducated woman when you could easily choose an attractive wealthy educated woman?

A lot of pro athletes get signed up right out of highschool or in their fiirst few years of college and now have Mega dollars and plenty of beautiful women to choose from but most of those women that are attracted to the pro athelete types are themselves uneducated, a professional woman or one that comes from a wealthy family would be less likely to choose a pro athelete hence why you see more of the women simply looking for someone to take care of them marrying pro athletes rather than professional women or wealthy socialites.

If for example I won a lottery and became instantly rich my pool of women to choose from would increase, now would I choose a waitress, nanny or the like? possibly, I wouldndt rule it out, but I would want to be certain that this person didnt know I was wealthy. But more than likely I would choose someone who like myself was college educated had a decent job and shared some of the same interests that I do.

Funny.... I've never considered attractiveness as a concern in relationships. Sure, it's a plus, and one that I've managed to secure over the years. But, I've never seen myself as attractive, so never felt that I should be... I dunno... "allotted?" an attractive person to date.

I've always been myself, and, guess what? Attractive women have become interested in me. Why? Because they're tired of the self-centered **** that tend to want to date them.

Hey... .I'm cool with that :)

I know at first glance that this statement apperars to be rather harsh but think about it in a logical non emotional way and it will make more sense.

First off very few relationships between two people with far differing educations, social upbringings, interests, friends etc are likely to survive, why bother with something that is virtually destined to fail?

Secondly wouldndt you be insulted if as a professional you went to a colleague's home and he offered to introduce you to his maid, nanny or cook as a "prospective dating partner" simply because she was attractive, rather than someone that would be a good match? You can find an attractive woman on your own, finding someone that you can spend the rest of your life with is a different matter entirely.
