As for the rest of you, what's with the one word responses? Tell us WHY. That's the point of "discussion". A one word response is like sitting in the Senate during a Bill proposal and when it comes time to vote just saying "Present."

For those that have, YAY! Thank you for enlightening us and participating!

You should as everyone else should absolutely know why a guy would move to Iceland. Here is another one word answer, damn I can't say it for I don't want another infraction. One infraction for me is enough till next year

You know what? I'm changing my answers. To hell with you all, I'm moving to The Falklands!

British rule with none of the benefits, here I come!

Nah, I think I'm still gonna stick with Australia.

Okay... sorry. I would love to live in a politically stable Ecuador because for a country roughly the size of the state of Georgia, it seems to have more distinct geographical regions than most continents. Want to go to the mountains? Hop on a bus. Want to go to the rain forest? Hop on a bus. Coast? City? Galapagos Islands? Bus. Bus. Bus and boat.

My time there may have been limited to about four months, but I felt like I could spend a lifetime exploring the country. On foot, if need be. The diversity is absolutely staggering - offering a little bit for everyone.

Again, I went with Peru - because I tend to shy away from the occasional coup. But I suppose I only did this due to its proximity.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

What if it was a boatbus? Or even a Busboat? What then, Mr. Crankypants? What then, indeed.

I figured "The Netherlands" was self explanatory.

Beautiful women, liberal society... whats not to like? In a perfect world, I could afford to live there and would.

Oh, for all you stoners saying "Amsterdam"... that's not a country it's a city... in the Netherlands.

Yeah but it's full of Dutch people. Who wants to go to a country full off crazy Dutch ****, anyway? Not me! I'd rather go to an island in the south Atlantic covered in ice and raped by wind 6 months out of the year because it's full of people who hate other people and that means they'll leave me the hell alone!

Oh and about the whole Amsterdam thing, you should stop being right. It's not very becoming.

I like one worded responses because it makes me look mysterious. ooooooo..

I chose Sweden because the little city I visited there is the first place that I felt truly comfortable in. Great people. I never once saw a frown. No horns beeping. No raised voices. It's a peaceful place, so much so that the biggest news story there was that some woman fell off her balcony while watering some plants.

Despite their outragious 25% tax, the prices of their goods is pretty much in line with ours here in the States. Good food. Extremely well kept. Laid back. The younger folks are playful and not uptight.

Oh, that and ze *possible?* future wife is there. That helps a lot too. haha

Who cares about all that. Koenigsegg Automotive AB is in Sweden and they make these:

    +1

I took a couple Japanese language classes in high school, and fell in love with the language. With their techno-love (technology, not the "music") it's a short step from there to heaven as far as i'm concerned.

Also, I wouldn't mind being 1ft taller and 150lbs heavier that 99% of everyone else.

    Oh, and LONG LIVE KAROKE!

There's a few countries I could live in, after having experienced them as a military brat.
Same here, travelled a bit when I was in the military (not enough otherwise the list would more likely be longer).

    1. Bermuda since the climate is much warmer than our Canadian climate . Working there was so casual, felt more like being on a perpetual vacation. People are also quite friendly there. I miss the Sunday champagne brunches :(

    2. Italy is a very old country, is beautifull not to mention the history (In Canada we considering building with 100 - 150 years of age as old :(). I also like the food. Italian people are very emotional people and there is no middle like in America, they either love or hate, nothing in between (no hypocrisy) and I was attracted by this.

I heard good things about Germany but never had the chance of a posting there so??? I think most of Europe would be interesting for me (at least for a few years).

Yessir. And that place is Danger. (See that capital "D"?)

My brother had to go there for business. His company hired him two "translators". He said only one seemed to be able to understand anything.
Both were armed very well though.

He told me that "translator" was code for "body guard" in this case.

    Brazil? No thanks.
