By George, I think you got it....
I've been hearing coments like "They're old aren't they?" when I demo different speakers to people using some older classic CDs. Different groups are demoed but I don't think some people ARE OPEN to hearing past artists for some strange reason.Pink Floyd is still popular with musicians though.

Yes, they were the best selling artist of the decade...but...There are a lot more adults that buy music than there are kids that buy music.

A lot of kids refuse to listen to anything that's more than a few years old. The possibility that they can doesn't even occur to them. These are the kids that are into the mindless "nothing" music though. The kind of music that all sounds the same and every single one of them is "the greatest song ever".

Not really. It's actually pretty cheap. Much cheaper than smoking cigarettes or drinking beer, for instance.

It's also one of the most effective tweaks out there.;)

Before your "time"? What the hell's that supposed to mean?...lol

Really? You're 23 and you don't know what the phrase "that was before my time" means? It means that Paul McCartney was popular (on the radio, in magazines, on tv, etc) YEARS AGO. I have grown up with completely different artists in mainstream media.
I'm 23 and the Beatles are one of my favorite bands. Are we not supposed to like old bands, because they're not the freshest thing on the radio?

I wasn't talking about the Beatles, I was talking about Paul McCartney. Why do you assume I only listen to the 'freshest' thing on the radio? (I listen to tons of classic music) And who is the 'we' you are talking about?

If it wasn't your intent to flame me and my music preferences, then I'm sorry for the flame-back.
