I like chewy pizza with extra cheese, mushrooms, onions, black olives and anchovies on the side. I don't like when they cook the anchovies into the pizza, I like to place them on top after the pie is cooked.

Of course my mom, RIP, made the absolute best pizza known in the free world.

There's a pizza joint here in Newark called Nick & Pete's. They are both from Italy and speak little English. They make a great pie. I didn't think I was ever going to get a good pie when I moved out of South Philly.

Nice combo, Ron. I'll have to see if I can get that here in Jersey. Hard to find too many pizza places that carry jalapeno peppers.
Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support

Really? I've never seen it NOT on a menu.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. I have a theory about pepperoni, and it boils down to all you people who say it's your favorite are baldfaced liars.

I STRONGLY dislike pepperoni. Every time there is a group of people gathered and pizza is ordered, everyone says "ooo, get pepperoni." And no matter what the only pizza left at the end is pepperoni, while the pizza I wanted everyone dived on as soon as it arrived while the pepperoni that's everyone's "favorite' sat there. It's everyone's favorite until something better is in front of them. Namely - anything.

Maybe it's just cuz the word is so cool? "Pepperoni."
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

That sounds like a solid pie Willow. I'm rarely for topping overload, but those are all winners.

Cooked pepperoni while very tasty gives me heartburn that feels like there are rats with blow torches on their claws digging at my stomach. I never order it.

Guess I'm having Pizza tonight after reading all these and imagining the aromas and taste. At least it's a Friday night, and we know they go together real well.:)

agreed.. pepperoni is to greasy, oily and just tastes bad.

lately I've liked the spicey types sausages instead of the traditional sausage you normally find on pizza.

chorizo is good and so is Andouille.

i like it pretty simple like the pizza from last night.

grilled chicken, mozzeralla cheese, lots of garlic, tomatoes, and mushrooms. really good.

I don't care much for the traditional red tomatoe sauce anymore.. I like a white sauce instead now.

Another good combo is pesto, feta cheese and tomatoes, and fresh basil with other spices.

No I'm not kidding and yes I know what goes into scrapple including pig dick! I love scrapple. My wife went food shopping today and bought home a three pound block of Rapa scrapple . . . mmmmmmmmm.

    I'm a Philly boy, remember?

BTW the same thing goes into hot dogs except of course for Hebrew National because they answer to a Higher Power.
