PSW 505 Wiring Setup

Just recd a new 505 Subwoofer. Reading the manual to hookup; it seems the instruction are opposite to the figure 6.

Words say "connect the left and right front speaker outputs of your receiver or amplifier to the speaker level inputs of the powered subwoofer using speaker wire."

But figure 6 shows the receiver wires going to speaker level output terminas instead and the right receiver terminal going to the left speaker level output terminal of the subwoofer.

I appreciate any help in order to understand.

Do you have a subwoofer or LFE output on your Receiver/AVR?

dorokusai, no. I have an older ONKYO ASV610Pro

Also I have 2 RTi A3 main speakers

Run speaker wire from the Left and Right(Front) speaker outputs on the Onkyo, to the L&R speaker inputs on the PSW505. Then run speaker wire from the L&R subwoofer outputs to the actual loudspeakers.

Better?

EDIT: I just looked at the manual and it's incorrect. You already had the right idea, just reverse the words on the diagram.
