Have you considered picking up a decent source first? Or an amp?

OK, I'll take a stab at it. Based on the pictures you posted: First, try rotating the entire room 90 degrees. Put your speakers and TV on the wall where the dresser is. Get rid of that desk. Use the rack behind the couch for the gear. Down size the couch to about half of what you have or get a couple nice chairs. If you can't do that, position the couch in a "V" with the bottom of the V in the sweetspot. Buy a couple traps you hang over the mirrored doors which you can take down when not being used.

Try to arrange the room with as much symmetry as you can. I'm not an interior decorator, my recommendations are based on your future desire for ML. You want some space on the sides of the speakers, as much as you can get and rotating the room will achieve that.

By putting the couch and all on a side of a room my rear speakers will be where they where before I moved them right behind the couch. I mean it was alright but I was told to give them space and to keep them back a bit. Also that shelf you are talking about was built for portrait when I made it. I should be getting a real stand soon. Never the less thanks for the advice.
