I used New Egg a few times. No problems and fast shipping.

Don't they sell for Circuit City online?

never had a problem here. Even when I had a small complaint about something they took care of it and went beyond what I thought they would and that was great. Never had a problem with their shipping or anything either.

I've built four computers so far mostly with parts from the egg and have had no issues and great service. Even had a bad monitor (Asus's fault) that the customer service people let me exchange for a different model despite their site saying they don't allow it. Customer service there is great.

Newegg is great! I've had problems with shipping and damaged/mixed up items but they always made it more than right.I am surprised how harsh some people here are,if it was not a Polk site I would think they were snobs.

I've been shopping with Newegg for close to ten years now and have never had an issue. Great prices, fast shipping and helpful customer service. I buy computer components, speakers, electronics and cameras from them.

Check out http://www.resellerratings.com Newegg gets a rating of 9.73 out of 10 with over 30,000 reviews. I would never hesitate recommending them.

No, Tiger Direct bought the rights to Circuit City's name. I don't but from Tiger because of the outrageous shipping costs they tag on.

Love Newegg.com ordered from them and recommend them too others. I never had an issue with them, I feel though some products are cheap and shows in there rating. I by on parts which I feel are build with another thought other then for price only. I don't fault Newegg.com for this, but us as consumers and the companies for trying to bend over for this sector in the consumer market.

Is this not similar to a Polk customer receiving a broken product there for Polk Audio must suck? Come on, when you deal with the amount of products Newegg does, with that many customers, there has to be a bad apple in the bushel somewhere. Not representable of the company as a whole by one bad experience.

Over the years, I've ordered a few Polk products with ZERO problems. Uber fast shipping, great packing, and great prices.

When I first started building computer towers, they did send me 2 computer motherboards that were defective. Oh sure, some would say the CPUs and motherboards got cooked to heck because I ignored the "just a BB size drop of silver thermal paste" on the CPU and heat sink, and maybe, just maybe, I might have put enough paste on to grease all the axles of an 18-wheel Mack truck, but ..... that would mean I made an error ! Luckily, Newegg recognized their errors and sent out replacements, no questions asked.

They did require that I get RMA's, though, which ...... whew, that took all of 5 minutes.

Nope, NewEgg gets a 10 out of 10 on the Big Three: Price, Shipping, and Service.

I order from Newegg so much I got a chuckle every time I passed our local Dunkin' Doughnuts. They had a sign up, "Try our new egg and cheese omlet" or something, but the "new" and the "egg" had gotten shimmied together a bit by the person putting up the sign.

Never had any issues with NewEgg here.
Never had any issues with any Mail In Rebates either.
Never had any problems getting anything replaced if it were needed.
    Never had to return anything.

I have had problems with Best Buy, but I'm sure many never had a problem with them. There will always be bad experiences with any vendor. But from what I'm seeing it looks to me that the Negative experiences at NewEgg are far outshined by the Positive ones.

Hmm . . . strange dichotomy here. The small Internet development company I started in 1996 has done network support and computer repair, sourcing a majority of its parts from Newegg, without a hitch.

I checked out the eggexperts.com site and it doesn't really seem that the complaints that people have are anything major. for example when it just says an order is charged but wondering if its shipped, ect. Things like that are common in shipping, even tracking info can get screwed up for example at 6:30 AM tells me a package arrived in Chicago, IL then at 8:00 its at my door which is 4 1/2 hours away. but apart from those complaints I didn't see too many that would worry me. I've called them before when a price changed and they were more than willing to help me out.

It's called "Nexus". If a company has any kind of tangible "link" from it's corporate home office to the state it is shipping into, it must charge tax.

Even though NewEgg is California based, if they have a warehouse, call center, or even accounting office in your state, they will charge you tax.
