Web site for DVD's?

OK........one thing that REALLY REALLY pisses me off is when a movie is re-released as Director Cuts, more formats, extra's, etc and all that crap. This only pisses me off because I bought the first release and ultimately wasted that money. (True, good idea would be to just wait, but patience is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO not my thing.)
In looking at my rack of 350+ movies, I'm wondering what versions of the movies that I have, as compared to the other versions that may be out there.
My question is this:
Is there a website that lists DVD's and the various features and formats that each release has?

Amazon is more of a sales site......
What I'm lookin for is a site that has reviews of the different versions (the DD only release........vs. the DTS or THX releases of the same movie) that would show for instance how many releases a single movie has had, and what formats and features were itemized with each of those releases.
Basically, what I'm wanting to do is to go through my collection and see if there's merit in me going after a release other than the one that I have to get the additional formats, if they're available out there......ya know?comment comment comment comment. bitchy.
