George got a variac that I have been stumbling on since the day Joe gave it back to me. I'm over the bridge in Levittown PA.
-
Whoa. Transylvania. I don't know.
-
Well your welcome to it anytime. I like tube gear. I also like the Kef's you have BUT no room...
I'm Just across the BB bridge. And just a few miles south on Rt 13 is Quest for sound. Cool place only 10 min from the bridge.

Perhaps I'll have to make a field trip sometime. I appreciate the offer.
-
George...:D....Now I don't feel so bad about my collection of gear and speakers over a 10 yr. period.
How long have you been collecting?
Do your pinnacle gold towers have the double 8" woofers?..I have a set of the gold reference towers with double 61/2" woofers and they sound awsome.
Very, very nice collection by the way! Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

Yes, they have two 8" woofers per cab and do sound very nice. This isn't really a collection, it's just stuff I have picked up. A collection would be the stuff I have that would never make it onto that list. The longest running item here is a pair of KLH Model 6 that I bought new in 1974, so I guess you could say that's when I started collecting. Those will not make it onto the list in the forseeable future. Very little AR stuff will make it onto that list. -
Jeez, George, that is an awfully long list for only local Polkies! You know you want to ship that Akai cassette deck to 80863."Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason."
-
George, if you ever decide to ship, I'd love that PS Audio 5.0 Preamp. My coworker has been raving about his for like last two years.Panasonic PT-AE4000U projector for movies

74 huh, alot of listening sessions since then I bet!
Nice Pinnacles indeed! People need to hear them. I can only imagine the bass they put out.Again, just too far away...:(Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Holy Mackerel! Perhaps I'll have to make my visit realsoon now.
I'm thinking on the PS Audio 5.0 perhaps as a Phono Pre for the Yamaha PX-3 - Thoughts on that combo?
I'll bring my Variac with me if you want to fire anything up.____________________

They're black, I never mentioned that. If black is beautiful, I'll put them on the side with your name on them. Or even better, I'm going to draw your picture on them. It's going to be a stick man with a indian chief headdress on okay?

Hey, the Kef's are 4.
Probably the Luxman receiver would be the only thing there with a 4 ohm capability. Although it does not have a toroidal transformer, as its little brother the 35wpc R-113 does (another piece I sold Russ and never should have). -
What's the condition of the Luxman? I need a minty fresh power source for 4ohm loads and an equally minty CDP....for a special project.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

The most expensive turntable, ready to go, plug and play, no service required prior to using, would be about $50. No more than $50. -
