DIRECTV receiver remote codes not working

Hi, just unpacked and set up my DVD 360 and bar. I have a DIRECTV HD-DVR model#HR20-100. I've tried all the codes from 3004-3060 that were suggested on screen. No joy.
I saw another thread about a different DIRECTV receiver and a tech suggested, "try other buttons than the power (guide, menu, etc.) to see if it works," but my receiver does have a power button, and you wouldn't see the guide anyway while the 360 is selected as source for getting the remote codes.
Anyway, anyone know the code for the HR20-100?

I have the HR22 model, it is RF capable. Yours might be as well.
Make sure you go into the set up menu on the receiver, and set to IR, not RF.
