What upgrades were done? RDOs? Were crossovers done, too?

If they're minty with RDOs, $200 sounds decently fair. I'd try to knock him down and split the difference at $175, but if they're in great shape, i'd pay $200 if the mods were done right.

Got a link or more info? I'm not going to snipe, i promise. :) I'm holding out for 15TLs.

I'd definately jump on them with the upgraded tweeters. See if he'll throw in the original SL2000's with the deal.

Yeah, those look great. I dont think i could pass on them. :)

I think the series were called Monitors, the name "Monitor" will appear on the rear product sticker i think. But there were also other "real" Monitor 11s, slotted between the 10s and the 12s, but a rarer beast.

Typically here what you're looking at is referred to as RTAs, don't know why other people don't do that.

Let me ask you guys this. I listen to rock and heavy metal and
like to crank it up in my cave. I have many options on what i
would use to power them. HK 3390,onkyo 8522,A/S pre with
a GFA555II or 5300. Maybe these may not be the ones for that?
I have been through a lot of lower type budget speakers. Do
you think these would fit my style?
    thanks

I can get mine too loud for even me and listen to bands like Slayer and Slipknot but you might want to go with some RTA 15tl's if you can find them.

Clean power is what you want. Mine are underpowered (60 watts/channel from a clean HK receiver) and so I don't crank mine up too loud, but even "not too loud" is loud enough to garner some attention from the neighbors across the street. I'm thinking that these things can handle the subtleties of classical music without any issue, but they were made for rock. Hard, heavy rock and roll.

If you haven't bought these, do so. If they are already sold, kick yourself and maybe karma will float you a better deal. But kick yourself anyway.

If you did buy these, let us know how you like 'em!

I have a pair of 11T's I'm probably going to sell. The problem I'm having is I can't find any information on them in order to list a description and I can not find the original paperwork.

Can somebody tell me where I can find this info? A link would be great.

I used to power mine with a Sonic Impact t-amp (a whopping 15 watts per channel) and got great results. They are very efficient and handled all types of music from Death, Speed, & Thrash metal to Jazz & Classical. $200 is a no brainer for them with the RDO's.
