    What type of problems?
Depends on the material used but one would expect there to be upredictable changes to frequency response and dispersion.

So you know about those early speakers.I thought the 100"s would have blown them into outer space.

Overall the 100's should be a more accurate speaker atleast from the upper midrange on down.

How do you have them positioned? Are they well away from the walls?Facing straight ahead or toed in?

I think one paradigm problem has is that I heard they have acces to a gov"t sponsered sound/listening room which is engineered way better than what we have at home. So what sounds real good there may not be so good at home.

Straight ahead 4' from the back wall 3' from side walls.Toe in is worse.

I think you had a double brain ****...;) two resistors in series do in fact sum together, it's when they are in parallel the resistance would be lower. With capacitors it's the opposite (they sum in parallel).
I'm sure you know this already-just don't want anybody else getting the wrong idea.

Like a few other Canadian manufacturers they did utilize the NRC's(National Research Council)anechoic chamber until they had grown to a point were they could afford to build their own.

One would expect it would be.You could try a few degrees of toe out. That then will put the tweeter off axis somewhat and may result in better treble balance.

Toe in-worst , straight-ok , toe out-seems the best for me.Sounds like it cuts the treble and brings out the bass.Just looks a little odd.

It would and psychologically be hard to get used to.But if it sounds better you can just close your eyes.

Two resistors in series do add together, so that RT = R1 + R2.
He does a lot of diy xover design and mods so I believe he knows this but was just having a momentary lapse.
