I would not sell my Pioneer or my Denon for less than 250.00, each cost at least 1000 new and generally used is 1/3 of new, so what is being asked is less than that, you prob should of jumped esp on the one Doro linked you to, but that is the way it goes, maybe someone here will karma you one.

You might just buy a new OppO its like 169.00 or some such thing, but it wont match the Denon's or the Pioneer's mentioned.

Somebody might hold one and let you pay as you can, a layaway sort of thing. If you get an inexpensive player you might consider one of the tube buffers as well to help the sound along.

    I can attest to that!

Congrats that's a nice unit...I'm considering an upgrade to a Denon DVD 3910 when I return to the U.S. but I'm also willing to drop of a few C-notes for that.

The 2910 is no slouch either..

    Enjoy!!

I think Ben likes the 2900 so he'll be upset with my getting the 2910.

Hmm, I have a mint Denon DVD-5900 (I'm the original owner). I've been thinking about selling it to replace it with the Pioneer BDP-09FD. Unfortunately, I don't have enough rack space to handle both. They're large players and built like bricks. Anyone can E-mail me if interested. DJ
