Sad day for the U.S. as we know it. Last week they also quiety ruled to remove the question "Are you a U.S. Citizen" from the Census questions.

The government now owns several banks, owns the vast majority of mortgages, owns 2 of the 3 American car makers and wont be long til they own another 1/6th of the economy. These democrats are some evil people.

But are you really willing to do anything about it come November 2010? My guess is you'll just pull the party line lever like all the times before, that is if you bother to vote at all. Talk is cheap, get involved, get informed, vote for real change.

And I'm a staunch independent who realizes there's evil lurking in both of the current major political parties.

I believe its time to vote the **** out... If they are incumbent, they should be removed in 2010, from the highest ranking members of congress all the way down to the effin' dog catcher. That is the only way we can get the message across.

John Entwistle wrote one of my all time favorites; Goin' Mobile

Can anyone share their thoughts as to what type of stereo components and Polk speakers to buy for a motor home?

We are going to liquidate our fixed assets and take to the road, avoiding the need for a permanent taxable address.

We are probably getting one of these, so we can even drive over to Keiko's if he ever gets a jonesin' to host Polkfest.

Well, there's the temporary option of a government takeover of several key banks and industries, which were absolutely doomed to fail without government intervention at the time, or let them fail and see what an actual great depression feels like.

I don't like it either, but I don't see any other option. Even in hindsight. The problem isn't government takeovers, it's that these companies were allowed to get this big - that if they failed, the economy goes down with them.

"These democrats are some evil people."

Let the record show that the president signed the first bailout bill into law and did not veto it. Psst - He was a republican. :)

    +1.

The majority of people you talk to have such strong opinions but when the **** hits the fan, they don't get involved. I too have strong opinions. So what did I do about it? I got out, knocked on doors and got people signed up to vote or gave them information on how to obtain absentee ballots.
