Seems that it was a major in the army that did it, 13 people dead, 30ish people wounded.

I was doing a PT Test when this happened. The mood around the Marines I was training with was hardcore. This blow was felt by all.

Another raghead SOB. Which part of "I will support and defend the US Constitution" did this moron not understand when he raised his right hand? Glad he's alive, I'll enjoy watching him rot in prison.

Prayers for all the soldiers involved.

Yesterday (last night) they were talking about accomplices, waiting to see some more details. The guy was an Army shrink, so it would seem the insanity plea is out.

Prayers to all that have suffered through this.

This is very sad.......never thought I would see a day where a US soldier guns down his collegaues on a US base. My thoughts go out to everyone involved in this tragedy. No doubt that these situations stir up a lot of emotions, but to draw any conclusions about "an inside job" is irresponsible and to call the guy a "raghead" is ignorant.

Excuse me, but what do you mean this was an inside job. Are you implying the military intended this guy to snap in order to rejuvenate support and moral for the war?

The only thing inside about this incident was the unfortunate fact that this guy was a soldier.

Serve some time over there, as I did, and your opinion might have an iota of importance to me. Sympathetic attitudes and being "PC" is exactly why the warning signs were ignored with this piece of ****. I have earned the right to express my opinion.

If you're offended by the term raghead, I don't care. I'm offended that 13 soldiers are dead, and 30 more wounded because we allowed this **** to serve in our Army.

No I am saying that a group planed this out sent him into the military and than went on a shooting spree. That is what i am saying. My father seems to agree as well.

It seems the reports are trending towards a single shooter despite initial reports that a conspiracy had taken place.

But what I am thinking is he was part of a group. But than again it is still in the early stages for investigation.

I don't think it was planned either. I think this **** figured he wouldn't have to be deployed--and when he was, his true colors emerged. Just my opinion, based on limited data.

Here's the mindset; these are the same people that consistently "look the other way" when it serves their own purpose. Like Saudis that go to neighboring countries so they can drink alcohol---you see, Allah can't "see" them when they aren't in Saudi Arabia...this jackhole had the same mindset.

This is what I want to see. The guy should have been surrounded by mental health professionals, so if it was a mental instability, someone should have spotted it. If it wasn't instability, then it was either political (again someone should have seen something) or personal against one or more of the victims. Or so it would seem, but I'm just speculating which is never a good idea.

I hope this was not something that could have been prevented, as that would be very disgraceful to those around him.

"At least six months ago, Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades.

Investigators had not determined for certain whether Hasan was the author of the posting, and a formal investigation had not been opened before the shooting, said law enforcement officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the case."

    http://www.armytimes.com/news/2009/11/army_shooting_hood_110509/

It seems to me that someone underestimated the threat.

He may have snapped, but I think in the end,he will be revealed for the wacked out muslim fanatic he is. Everyone who joins the armed forces knows the deal. This **** took 500 g's of our money for schooling, training, then does this? If that was me on the ground near him,I would have made sure to put a few more holes in him to make sure he's dead. Now I suppose we will have to spend more defending him in court, keeping his **** locked up. Hopefully Texas will warm up that chair.

I feel ya' man. i just hope the right lessons are learned from this and whatever court this guy sees gives him the max.

It seems to me this is the best argument yet for profiling. How sad is it that Born in America isn't certification for absolute commitment to brother and country?

    Steve,

    Thanks for your service.

I agree that this guy is a piece of crap and am offended of the innocent men and women that lost their lives yesterday. Again, I thank you for the service you gave to this fine country and go to bed at night knowing that there are honorable people like you serving, but fail to see why it entitles you to use these terms to describe people.

As does many americans Steve. Hell I just saw a story where the EU courts told Italy....Italy of all places, that they cannot have crosses in their schools. Ya know what,Italy gave them the finger and said they will not change their culture for anyone. We could learn from this.

We still have firing squads on the books.

...but honestly I would rather this guy rot in jail. He wanted to die yesterday so he could go to his heaven and his 72 virgins....he would have been a martyr for them. Now he is a shot up piece of **** and I hope he gets to see the inside of Leavenworth for the rest of his pathetic life.

My wife is from Iran, and is of the Muslim faith. Tragically there is a very small percentage of F'tards out there that use anything they can to support their stupidity. We do not know this ****'s motives for what he has done, but it is now being widely reported that he was shouting Allah-Akbar before pulling the trigger....

If religious beliefs were his motive or even involved in his actions, please let's not paint all Muslims with the same brush. This guy is a complete psycho. I also will not be refering to this douchebag as a Soldier. I will not place him on equal footing with those he killed, and is a dis-service to all that proudly and honorably wear the uniform of the United States. The term "**** TRAITOR" is more appropriate.

God bless those that lost their lives and the families that mourn. May god help those that survived to recover fully.
