Hopefully, they both will be sound pretty much the same.
This is unscientific and I need to know why.
Try the set up as-is first, see if it's the same as what you heard before.
Definitely turn off the PQLS. (I'd try that as the first change)
In fact, now that I know what it does, I'd almost bet (if the difference is still there) that the jitter reduction processing is the culprit. That, or a dud cable/loose connector on the Denon.
