Well - today my right channel mono block went down...

Im ok with it - I have been wanting to send them in to get upgraded + put on silver faceplates and top covers...

But DAMN!

Pretty much 15 minutes after watching Gi Joe on Blu Ray - everything got real quiet! :(

Man my **** is breaking - MIT cable, my Candela, my amp... jesus

I need to just send everything back to everyone to get it looked over and upgraded and sent back to me.

Is this the first time you've had issues with those amps?

I replaced the fuses and they blew immediately.

This is the first problem I have had.

+1, I've bought several amps from Klaus and the last experience left me very bitter. I'm sure he'll take care of you. Just make sure you lay out a time line and then add 4 months.

Do you have a backup amp? If I had to go without my system for a long time I would go nuts.

GI Joe? You don't say... So that is what all the discerning 'philes with slamming setups are viewing nowadays.

That's what I was going to say..............and I'm strictly going on what I've read about.

I have a good friend who owns a few Odyssey pieces and is in the process of upgrading his mono's and buying a Candella. I have my fingers crossed everytime I hear his system.

Not in any way bashing Klaus or Odyssey but it seems they can have their sporadic issues.

My dad's Khartago spent its Christmas Break being worked on by Klaus' elves. It was kind of cool that he called my pops on Christmas Day to give an update. Even better that pops is Jewish and was just sitting down to nosh on some Chinese food. I love the Holidays.

Odyssey has been overall a solid company for me...

My Candela had issues but then again I received like one of the first ten - so I was expecting some weirdness. All is well with it now! :)

As far as the amps go - they are a few years old at this point... although this is probably the first time I have had any real problems with gear that I could not live without. I sent the Candela off to get looked at because I was in the process of changing houses (still in the process of that haha) and being without it for a month was no big deal!

Either way I am thinking if Klaus will work with me - Kismet type upgrades will be in store for my Monos + silver tops and faceplates! :)

Also Russ is hooking me up with a loaner till I get mine back - so atleast I will have some tunes!

Also forgot to add to the list of broken things - my trucks window regulator went out a week or so ago!
