My break in process...
Turn 'em as loud as I felt comfortable with (on a teen radio station with about 1dB of dynamic range and plenty of rap-style bass so I knew it would always be blasting) when I go away. When I come back, turn down the trebble, but leave it as loud so it's still exerting. When they arent in an enclosure, it's barely noticeable. Of course, I had to turn them off to sleep, since the rig is in a bedroom )
I did that since I got them on Wednesday, I'd guess they got at least 30 hours break in. -
BTW, my cousin is marrying a stripper tomorrow and I'm going so not much work is getting done.
I'm dead serious. Trust. -
Funny how I went from "how do you trade in subs at CC?" to "how can I get assy colorations out of my Tang Band transmission lines?" And it's all my fault, waaaaaa!

Ugh, I had something written then the computer crashed. So I wrote it again and it crashed again. So I'll keep **** simple and get to the point.
I got 'em together yesterday and I'm nervious, angry, frustrated, and scared, but not satisfied or happpy. They are too high and I still can't get the "assy" sound out of 'em. My bass looks like **** despite the time I spent on it, and I still can't figure out how to attatch binding posts. For now I have regular speaker wire poking through a hole in the back.
So many problems, it makes me want to start over and build a SSDS clone and use the PVC for DIY speaker stands or something.
