He personally had his ears on the gear in question...
Concealer's knowlege comes from experience, and you have no clue.
I'm not trying to be a d|ck just stating "fact's";)
You are absolutely right! I have no clue at all! How did i manage to get out of bed this morning and dress myself? I am such a fool :rolleyes:LessisNevermore wrote: »I personally had my ears on it too, with different gear (more on the neutral side IMO) and came to a different conclusion. You have no dog in this hunt, so why are you telling this guy he has no clue, or even getting involved?
You don't have to talk down to everyone who's **** you're not currently kissing. There is a middle ground, find it please.
Thank you LessisNevermore! I can see that you are truly an intelligent and respectfull person! Good Kharma to you my friendconcealer404 wrote: »Yeah, you don't remember correctly.
And again. Learn to English.
He was saying that the Emotiva SOUNDS harsh. As in, by description, it sounds LIKE IT WOULD BE a "harsh" unit. Never once did he pass judgement on the player.
You're kinda slow.

I think you should really wait for the ERC-1 demo group to express their reviews on this player. If you have a CD Player already, what's the rush?Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:

I loook up the definition of " HARSH" from the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
Harsh: (Adj) Having a coarse uneven surface that is rough or unpleasant to the touch. Synonym: Rough.
I thought it was " one's man brighthness is another man's ex-tended hi-frequency" but if it is HARSH and you need a decent CDP, please find BB location to buy a demo BDP51FD.
It was on sale few month ago for $149.00 @ BB. It's a darned good sounding CDP plus DVD plus BRP. I owned the Rotel 1062 CDP and there is no comparision. No CDP @ 149.00 or under $1000.00 will do better. -
^Of course, like my statements, this is pure opinion. An opinion that i hope to research for myself in the next couple weeks.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Back in the 70's, there was a chain of mi-end audio stores called Home Entertainment". My audio mentor bought a huge pair of coffins Klipschhorn. He loved them to death while others were thinking that he had hearing problem.
Sorry Klipch fans, I just cannot hold it in. Mr.Kim, I am sorry but the Mac and that coffins wouldn't do it for me and I did not have big enough ball to tell you. Peace, brothers!
