I have my HK354 hooked up to play my Sony SACD player. I want to enable Auto Audio Polling for this device but I only see audio outputs for Analog 1-5 when selecting Auto Audio Polling from the source setup menu. The audio input in the source selection audio input view shows the 6-8 channel analog, but not the Auto Audio Polling. How do I assign Auto Audio Polling to the 6-8 channel outputs? Any ideas?

Your multi-channel inputs on the HK, for the Sony, are the 6-8 channel inputs. I don't believe you can use the audio polling with multi-channel outputs. That's for polling of stereo only sources, not multi-channel.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I'll take another look at it. The OM actually says to "Assign the 6/8 Channel Analog Audio Inputs to the Audio Auto Polling setting in the Source Info menu." When I had this hooked up on my old Yamaha HTIB it was pretty straight forward. This receiver requires some more tweaking, but that's what I love about this hobby.

    Thanks,
