One thing I found annoying was that when you die after a cut scene you have to sit through the cut scene again. That can get pretty damn frustrating if the task you have to complete is particularly hard and/or the cut scene is really long. I really think that they should have put an option in to skip, but perhaps they didn't add one on purpose.
At this point it's clear to me that there will be an Assassin's Creed III, and that's a good thing.
I liked the original, but I did find it repetitious after awhile.
Long cut scenes that you can't skip past drive me batty. Sometimes it's just load times on those cut scenes, but that's rectifiable by copying the game to the Xbox Hard drive (Elite model only I think) so at least it loads faster and the Xbox is quieter altogether not having to spin-up and access the Game disc all the time (that still needs to be in the drive by the way).
Wolverine is a great game (IMO), but it also has way way too much repetition in it esp the boss scenes, and some of the cut-scenes are skippable, but some are not (and usually the longer ones) and so an annoyance.
I got my ACII today, looking forward to trying it out tonight. :cool:____________________

Just curious, but why not? This isn't a FPS or anything, so I don't see any advantage other than personal preference. -

It's just personal preference really, I only do sports and racing games on consoles, everything else is on PC.

Just played for about 1 hour. THis game blows AC1 out of the water... The city is still real, but now your character feels CONNECTED to the city via antics with local gangs and his brother. I can easily tell this is a top 5 game of the year.My Iron Man training/charity blog.

L4D2 is nothing more than tweaks. It is better than Left 4 Dead (but not by much). only get it on sale.
Assassins Creed 2 is really a great sequel in every way. I'm not far enough in to say if its as epic a sequel as Uncharted 2 (my game of the year by a large margin), but it is excellent. It does everything a sequel should, and then some.My Iron Man training/charity blog.

I'm not sure where your info is coming from, but Assassin's Creed II does not release for the PC until March 16th (stated earlier in this thread, too).

Sounds like I need to pick this up for the PS3. I grabbed Uncharted 2, but it's very linear, and its more guns, guns guns. I enjoy shooters, but it looks like AC2 will give me the single player change of pace I want (open ended environment and NO guns...)2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ

Leonardo da Vinci does provide you with a gun in this game.
