PSW 10 Connection

I have a PSW 10 connected to a Pioneer 01thx and the Reciever looses the sub when powered down. I have tried to use both settings on the sub for auto and off. I have also used both settings on the reciever for a sub. The sub is connected from the sub out on the reciever to the left chanel on the PSW 10. I have to unplug the sub and plug it back in with the reciever turned on to get it to play. I know it is probably something simple that I'm over looking but I just don't see it.

what setting does it lose? does your receiver say that you have no sub connected to it?
I leave (sub) mine on.. so that it plays whenever a signal is passed through to it. i guess same as leaving it on standby.. and it's suppose to activate when it senses a audio signal.
if your Pioneer receiver is losing it's sub.. it then would be a problem with the receiver and not the sub. check the menu settings for the Pioneer.. and maybe you have to hit a button to remember it's settings.. like SAVE. I have to do that on my Outlaw Audio pre amp after I calibrate it every time or else it won't remember the current settings.
