R50 speaker issue

Hello,
I purchased two R50's from Fry's two weeks ago. They were both "open box recertified" as that was all was left, however they assured me that they are fully tested.
Of course, I test them out today (live three hours away and just finished moving to another part of town), and as luck would have it, one of them isn't working correctly. I believe the tweeter is gone or one of the sound processing filter things is messed up; the sound is VERY muddy and it won't get loud at ALL compared to the other speaker. I tried different wires, different outputs from the receiver etc to verify that it wasn't something else first.
Before I drive three hours to exchange it, is there anything I can try first? Does polk sell replacement tweeters for the unit?

Contact Polk Customer Service. While I've been fortunate and have not had to use them, I hear nothing but great things. I'm sure they will take care of you...and save you a 3 hour trip back to Fry's.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

PSOVLSK is right. And I have called Polk customer service on a minor issue on an open box special which was missing some jumpers....they had new ones mailed to my house in less than a week. Great service!
