LASAGNA: Words cannot explain this lasagna. I can post the recipe if anyone so desires, but be warned, the ingredient list is certainly not for the faint of heart, and i will NOT be head liable for your quadruple bypass surgery. If anyone shows up here and wants it, i will be more than happy to make a batch. I can't get enough of this stuff. The pan you're looking at weighed a good 10-15lbs at the least.

In May? I don't see why not...

As a forewarning, it's an apartment, so i no longer have my grill. :( BUT! I think there's racing going on that weekend, too, which would be fun.

I'll just keep an eye on you beforehand so to make sure you're not a weird axe murderer or something. So be careful, i'm watching you on the internet. :p

Racing in Indy in May??? No kiddin'?

I'm from Cincy originally so for many years we would drive up for the race. Great time to be in Indy! I haven't been back for 3 or 4 years now, but still have relatives in the area so I'm sure I'll eventually get back for a race.

    Hey guys... Nachos pro-tip...
One very popular Italian chain (i know, i know, and italian place serving nachos, but they are damn good nachos) uses wonton wrappers cut in quarters (take the knife and cut from corner to corner and then again corner to corner, making an "X") and deep fry them for about 45 sec to a min.
You get very light, crispy and beautiful chips. You can then throw a layer on a plate, thow down some melted asiago cheese, another layer of chips, more asiago, and then a third layer of chips and put all your junk on that so it drops to the bottom of the chips, but you ensure your cheese covers completely!

    Trust me, damn damn good!

    Pat.

130lbs isn't really normal for me these days... i have to stay active, otherwise i lose weight.

Now that my back is functional again, and i think i figured out why my appetite is so elevated (i quit smoking), i think i'm around and climbing. I'll be happy once i hit 160 or so, and i should sit there by spring or so. :

But yes... i LOVE my food, and luckily, i really love to cook. Last night was sauteed chicken strips on a bed of angel hair pasta, with a butter/lemon/garlic sauce.

Tonite will probably be shrimp scampi. :D

Sure, i'll get the recipe for both up tonite. :)

The nachos are pretty easy and open to a lot of interpretation, i don't find them anything special, but they sure are tasty.

The lasagna, i'll give the easy version, which makes use of (gasp!) jarred sauce. :p You can substitute whatever tomato sauce recipe you may have.
