(If there's one thing I hate about audio it's wiring. Home theater doesn't help at all either. You get digital interconnects, but there's a million other things to deal with too)

Did you dream how much cherry veneer you'd need to resurface them to match the rest of your collection? :)

    Subject: CHERRY F. C. VENEER

    From:constantines.com
    Hi,
5 pieces of that veneer would be a total of $176.87. That is including shipping. I will have to check if I have that many in stock.
    Thank you.

This is not a dream, I already ordered it how much I need to resurface it.

So no one can answer the question about the Dual Binding Posts on a tower and how you'd connect the speakers in series?

    brett,
You can't connect them in series. The only way to do so would be to modify the x-over.
Just wondering. Why would you want to connect your 2 binding posts in series?

Organ, read up - we're trying to create 8 ohm LSi's

Aaah I see. Adding a 4ohm resistor at the amp(or receiver's) output will increase the impedance to 8ohms nominal. Won't sound as good but you'll get 8ohms LSi.

Parallel just run all the positves together and all the negatives together. and series would be run one wire to the positive of one speaker to the negative of the other speaker and then hook up your amp to the positive and negative of both speaker ,If I could draw you a diagram I could explain it better.Your higher dollar amps have no problem running four ohms.

I'd like to see a speaker with the clarity of a electrostatic/ribbion speaker and the slam of a Cone driven speaker with Polks name on it of course. That was in roughly the same price league as there other speakers.

However I don't think that will happened any time soon.
