Rc85i or RC65i

I have a room that is basically 17x16 with one end semi-opened (in the basement). Would the 65is be suffice as front and rears or should I go with the 85is? Don't want to overkill it if I don't have to. I'm not really an audiophile and won't be listening at an ungodly volume (have small kids) - well maybe sometimes (ha). Should probably tell you I'm running an Lci-c center and a PSW10 sub. Thanks!

You should not go with Rc in walls , you should go with LC in walls. You should match your center channel with your main speakers. If you want RC in walls then get rid of the LSI center and get a RTia center or in wall center.
On a side note I own both pairs of in wall speakers. I have the RC65i's in my masterbed and the RC85i's in my Garage. They Rock. Both pairs are great. Can't go wrong with either. I suggest the 65's for your size room. But remember what I told you.Dan

Thanks Dan. Unfortunately the LCs are out of my price range. Is the LCI-c not a good match as a center speaker for the RCis? I should say I am looking for in-wall speakers here and the RTia and LS don't seem to be in-wall.
