I have been feeling pretty down lately....until I recieved a call from my good freind Jesse !

Since the strokes , life has gone all the way down hill....including lossing my job.....which is believed to be one of the main factors in me having the strkes to begin with.

Anyway, I have been putting everything I own up for sale to pay medical bills, and my systems was in line to be sold.....until I heard from Jesse !!

I got up today to a hard pouring storm, and decided to fire up the tunes to see if I could get out of my slouch.

I think that I will go down with the ship before I sell my system..!

I love the synergy and the way it can make me smile even when life really sucks !
I rolled some tubes in the pre and have been feeling pretty good all morning.

So , I just thought I would say...."wassup "?!!

Hope evrybody is doing well

Thanks for the update and I/we sure hope you get feeling better real quick. Listening to tunes is great therapy and should be mandatory for people who are feeling down. Hell, even listening to a **** system can make a person feel better and a guy with a great system like yours you'll be flying high in no time. Keep the faith and the tunes cranking.
Let the guys/gals know if we can do anything to help.
Your friend you have yet to meet, Drew

I can't imagine giving up my music.
And I know that none of our systems are the music, I know that I can hear my music so much better with it.

I hope your health improves and your outlook gets a bit brighter.

    Keep it loud.

Sounds like a positive attitude, listening to some good tunes and hearing from a friend can over come most anything.

Any chance of claiming early retirement benefits based on medical disability? I only ask because I'm familiar with someone who just did that, however I don't know any of the details and rules that made it possible.

    Thanks fellas...

    I don`t know..
I`m trying to look into it, but everything is so confusing to me these days....

I have had two strokes that left legions on the side and back of my brain, and a smaller third one , which did not require I stay in the hospital...

I had to quit smoking and gained weight ...I am now a fat bastage !!

280 lbs of jacked up beardog !!

    Could be alot worse though......
I have good and bad days....today is a good one !!

one day at a time my friend.... take it one day at a time.

glad that you posted again... and that today is a good day for you.

Walking is a good way to take weight off.. it's gradual, but it's so good for you on may levels.. and is low stress on joints.

Robert, I've been thinking of you lately and was hoping to see you around at some point, before too long, and here you are! I hate to learn that you have worked so hard and gotten so ill just to loose your job. It doesn't seem right, somehow ... sort of anti-American.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to more positive news from you in the future. I just wish I lived up your way and I'd tell you to bring over the wifey and we'd discuss our mutual addiction with mine ... over a glass of wine, of course (doctor's orders permitting - it's my "other" addiciton). Thanks for popping in today to update us on the situation. You're one of the good'uns!

Sorry to hear about this. Lots of people have strokes and its not the end of the world, just a change in habits, different job or lifestyle etc. The important thing is to be happy no matter what gets thrown at you.

Rangers don't have strokes, you simply had a quick nap, dreamed of naked women and just happened to wake up in the hospital.
