I-Sonic 2 Clock Problem

I just got my brand new I-Sonic 2 today and hooked it all up.

After setting the clock per the manual, the time stays where I set it.

In other words, I set the clock to 2:14 pm and it's now 2:33 pm. The clock still says 2:14.

What's wrong here?

Thanks,

W.

There is no setup mode that I can find in the manual. You just hit "TIME SET" a few times, adjusting the clock each time, and the 4th time starts the clock. Except the time doesn't change.

    New info:

If I hit "ALARM ON/OFF" twice to turn the alarm on, then off again the clock updates to the current time, but still doesn't change after it updates.

I care about the time Sal, My Isonic 2 is what wakes me up at 4:50 am during the week to ensure I get to work on time!

    Hello,
Welcome to Club Polk. All you have to do is set the time, then unplug the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait a second, re-plug the power supply and the time will advance.
    Cheers.

Thanks Jed. That seems to have done it.

Would be nice if that info was in the manual or the I-Sonic FAQ.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks, Jed Leland.
After many frustrating attempts, I set the time, unplugged it, plugged it in and it worked! Why can't Polk provide that information?
