    I'm not a hardcore drinker ,casual for me here.Long Islands Ice Tea's get me from the first one and after about 3 or 4,I'm a mess.
    A good mess nonetheless.........

    Jstas - That's a common shot/ beer. All bartenders are from some where else. You can bet that they have brought, or have seen something like what they serve you somewhere else.

    I am from Maryland. Local oddity:

    Hot sauce(Any) in bottom of shot glass, Whiskey(Makers Mark), to fill, drop in glass of Pilsner(Any) Because at this point you cant be picky about the particular brand of beer. Just make sure it isn't a lager or stout.

    What's it taste like? Shite!

    Some freak told me this was a Maryland Crab Period, fook that! Thank goodness I did'nt order it! Or pay for it!

    If you have to, or need to ADD an ingredient to your fine pilsner or Marzen or whatever, you are wrong. Beer has been perfected allready, all attempts to make it taste better are simply MIND CONTROL..........:lol:

    Jstas: Form the Mr. Boston drink guide I've had something similar. 1 shot vodka (100 proof or Pearls or Grey Goose works best) in a highball glass, top with beer and 2-3 dashes of Tabasco and stir slowly. Not a boilermaker. Very tasty and very dangerous. The hot makes you thirsty and the vodka gets you schnockered. Frank's doesn't work nearly as well as Tabasco.

    Awesome Jstas.

    We've been dropping shots of whiskey in beer glasses for a while. I prefer 16oz beer to the 1 shot. A 'depth charge' is what we refer to it as here. It will DEFINATELY help you reach your 'destination' faster than beer alone, but without the harshness of simply taking a shot, and chasing it with suds.

    I've tried vodka/tequila... you can find out for yourself, but man it was NASTY. The vodka was the worst, the tequila (Cuervo 1800) was so-so.

    I'll add the hotsauce/pepper and give it a whirl. I've heard of some people using a 'splash' of spicy V-8 juice on top of the 'depth charge', but never tried it myself.

    If I recall you post quite regularly, that's great, we should all post and talk about whatever as much as possible.

    I'm not going to discuss it anymore because people get all bent out of shape and then they decide that it is more fun to laugh and take cheap shots and then I end up being called names in the hall of shame. I'm through discussing it. I tried on several occassions to let things be and do something else but far too many people can't seem to let things go and leave the differences be. brettw22 is the latest example of this. I'm new here and the very first post I made I was met with a rather high level of animosity and it hasn't stopped since. So rather than deal with the BS in ever single post I make here, I just won't post here anymore. Simple as that. I'll leave my posts in the technical forums where I can be of help. I'll go elsewhere to discuss non-audio things because this is just more trouble than it is worth here in this forum.

    IMO, a boiler maker is a shot of whiskey with a beer chaser.

    A depth charge is taking said shot and dropping it in a glass/mug/whatever of beer and chugging it.

    Boilermakers are what I grew up drinking, a family tradition of sorts.

    IMO, puting anything else in there, hot sauce or whatever, is perversion...

I'd be more than happy to go through your past lil fits thread by thread with you if you'd like to clarify about who's getting bent. I have no problem with that. If someone doesn't glowingly agree or approve of what you say, there's no need for you to jump on the lil victim train and ride it until the next time you post. How weak that you had to delete all your posts. If you truly want the board to reflect an empty post, then I'd say just don't bother to start with. I dunno.......just tryin to save you the effort. You took dorokusai's post as a personal attack and for that, I laugh. I find myself laughing at you quite a bit simply because you act like such a freakin baby when you don't get your little pats on the back. Grow up and accept the fact that not everyone's gonna like you.......especially when you have tantrums as often as you seemingly do.
