LSI15 or Paradigm Signature S8 v2 ?

I sold my LSI15's to buy Gordon's Paradigm Signature S8's v.1 and there really is no comparison. To be fair though, as others have mentioned, you are comparing a $6000.00+ speaker to a much lower priced tower. The Paradigm line CAN be a bit bright without the proper equipment and room treatments, but once dialed in they will blow your socks off. I have since purchased a pair of Studio 100 V. 5 for the upstairs, and love those as well. I'd take the Studio 100 version 5 over the LSIs, but those will run you around 2k, almost twice the cost of LSI 15's used. If you are in the Ohio area, you are welcome to stop by and audition my speakers anytime.

Yesterday I went to a specialty shop to listen Paradigm Signature S8v.
With the utmost sincerity I thought I heard the "Klipsch Reference THX".
They are better, even considering the difference in technology, the Quad.
I expected much for $$$$ K.:(

Just stumbled on the review of the the LSi's in the forthcoming edition of The Absolute Sound at www.avguide.com
Here are some highlights of the review written by Anthony H. Cordesman:
"....the LSi-15 has an extraordinary mix of treble and midrange performance for the price. The upper octaves are among the smoothest and most detailed at all levels of dynamics that I have heard; they certainly outperform most speakers costing more than twice as much."
"What you need to understand is that the tweeter in the LSi-15 is superb and much more than a run-of-the-mill improvement."
"...the bass had more energy and extension than tightness and control, and the LSi-15 sounds a bit warm."
"....the new Polk LSi series provides exceptional value for money and ....the LSi-15 is a speaker any music-lover with a real-world budget should consider."
The avguide.com website charges $3 to download the article in PDF format. However, since I "took one for the team", I'd be glad to e-mail a copy to any interested Polkies out there.

Hi guys,
I have the Polk LSI15s and I am looking at the Paradigm Studio 100!
Will this be an upgrade in sound compared to the LSI15s? Hpw do the paradigm studio 100 compare to the LSI15?
Appriciate any opinions
