I think Rodeo0530 may have been bitten by the 2-channel bug, though.

I turned the sub off at one point listening to music without him noticing. He gave a pretty good face when i informed him exactly what he was listening to.

I was definitely impressed by what I heard. I'm still such a noob, but that was definitely an eye-opening...err....ear-opening experience. Thanks a lot for the sub. It's hooked up and sounding pretty good after moving it around a bit this morning.

Is it doing ok with filling up your space? You may have to select "double bass" on your Oinker to send enough signal to it to really do it's job in an HT setting. I've always had to do that on most of my Onkyos.

Go rent Transformers 2 and see how she does!

That's the plan...I wasn't going to watch it before I got this sub. I think that the sub is performing admirably in such a big area. I still only have it to -5 I think. Threw Gone in 60 Seconds in this morning and it sounded really good after I moved it a couple different places. Thanks again, and I'll have to come visit you again when you make some changes to the system.

One of the best methods to finding the ideal location for a sub is to put he sub in your listening position, then crawl around the room (at least in the areas where you sub could go) until you hear the best response.

I forgot to offer you my sub cable.... now i feel like a jerk.

I have a 30' sub cable that would have let you move it around to pretty much wherever you wanted.

Jerk! I actually have a 30' sub cable as well that is just a cheapy that I've used for moving my sub around to find a nice place for it. Once I find where I want to put it, I have a little nicer cable that I use. No prob at all Ben, but thanks for the thoughts now:p

Hahah, just figured i'd throw that out there. I was going to throw it in the mail if you needed it, but sounds like you have it under control.

I'll just keep it for my next experiment. (How stupid is an RT-12D in an apartment setting?)
