They sent a monkey into space circa 1949 but I didn't wake up an astronaut today.

You clearly have a knack for woodworking Ben and I've been around enough audio in a couple decades to make a reasonable assesment of things. I think your other projects show more talent than that ridiculous loudspeaker. Not every comment will be a ****.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Not yet. I may just go with a buffer for now if I can pull a rabbit out of my hat.

I sure wish we lived closer. I'd love to plug that little Yaqin CD-1 buffer between your pre-amp and amp to see what $140 of tube would do with those bad boys.

Thanks, and ah no thanks. The speakers are wired just like 1.2TL's with Polk drivers(Thanks Mark) minus the better Morel tweeters. The top eight drivers are wired like subs. I did receive a bit of help from a few guys you know who on these.

I'd love to try one out, but for now not even $140 is in the budget.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Actually your 1C's have better imaging. This is another case of a speaker being to large for the room. The SDA does work although it is not as good as 1C's in this environment. The bass is of coarse fantastic if I open all the doors on that floor. The energy in the air is something to be felt. Kick drums are certainly very hard hits like no other speaker.
