For those that are interested in the records, most are Urban (old school) with some classic rock, alternative, and pop in the mix. I have not gone through all the boxes yet but I have not seen anything like Rush,Zeppelin,The Doors, or anything like that yet. I have never seen so many promo recordsin all my life.
If I should happen to be lucky enough to get any of these I would be interested in the less popular and unknown ones. I already have the normal ZZ Top, Zeppelin, Rush, doors etc play list that everyone else will want.

Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
Still going through everything at this point. After thinking this through further, I may just send the majority of these down to Polkfest in Nov. for everyone to go through. Take what you want for free and pass on the rest to others if you take extras. I am hoping to make PF but at this point I have no idea. If anyone is going through or near Richmond that is going to be attending PF, let me know and I will load ya up with these if you want to do the relay thing.
I will still keep lots of records to send to people here at CP though. Others I will Karma......I could do a Karma a day for a year and still have plenty to go around, lol. -

I used to have a '65 beetl that was pretty reliable.... Oh, now that's a damn lie... But you could fix anything on it with another set of hands, $15 in parts and about 1 hour.... I was never stranded except the time the clutch cable broke.

Hey I am new to this forum but if you don't mind giving away or even selling me those "urban" vinyls to me. I would not mind one bit. I just started my collection of vinyl that is why I ask. Anyways nice find.

So, find any more gems in any of those boxes?
Did you ever figure out what you're doing with all of them?

Wow, what an insane find for free, congrats to you. props to you for giving out some to CP..I know I personally would have a hard time not trying to sell most of it.. but that's probably due to my bigger hobby of toy collecting and buying stuff in lots, keeping what I want and selling the rest individually so that I end up paying nothing heh.Main 2ch -

I'm still going to distribute these to those that want some. I've had a full plate as of late and I'm starting a new job this morning. Once everything slows down a little and I have some free time I will be doing this. I will have a day off during the week but not sure when yet.
I have found quite a few signed albums. So far the autographs are from LL Cool J,the one record I offered up for Karma,The Isley Brothers, and Anita Ward. There are others but these are the ones I remember off the top of my head. I also found some really cool picture discs, some of the records are really cool colors and some of the covers have various things written on them by the artist themselves. I still have a few boxes to go through. -
Hope the new job goes well!!George Grand wrote: »

I sure would be a happy camper if I was able to get in on some sweet single action.
I'd also be happy if I got some records. (buh dum CHING!!!)
If you decide to ship/distribute any of these I'm always game for unknown, classic rock, definately hip hop, etc.
Good luck with the new job. -
Wow I did not know you actually got multiple autographed LP's. Even better find than I had previously thought.

Just wondering if we're still on for this. I've finally got my TT setup going, and I'm looking for some padding for my collection.:)
