Ricardo - I have two boxes of the Lidocaine patches you can have if you want....they work well as a topical treatment for shingles.

Thanks Mark; I don't think that will help...the rash is almost gone now. The problem I have is the "postherpetic neuralgia"; the nerves are still sending pain messages to the brain, even though there's nothing there.


Guys (the old farts..), if you had chickenpox, get the shingles vaccine.

I know, the patches interrupt the firing of those nerves.

Got it; just googled and saw they treat "after shingles" pain.

Let me see how the Lyrica works. Thanks for the offer though.

All my usual kidding aside on this one Ricardo, shingles is very bad juju, its going to take some time my friend.

I use those patches too, they help some, I would use them with the other stronger stuff.
