Two years ago I thought I had memorized the old tweeters for ever...apparently not. This looks like a peerless, but the v is upside down (right) and I can't tell if there is a hole....maybe sl1000?

Thanks...Mike

That's a standard Peerless tweeter. There's nothing upside down about it.

I can't tell if it's got the hole or not, but that shouldn't make a difference. There were Peerless tweeters both with and without the hole in the dome.

Definitely Peerless tweeters. Looks like a nice pair of 10A's.

Some pics of peerless in the past have shown the tweeter in the position that the wires (is there a name for them?) are in a standard V position, unless someone put them in upside down, or it doesn't matter.

Stubby....This guy either tried to sell these or sold another pair about a year ago....those might have been 10Bs...what do you have on the market...I need either a higher powered HTR or a multi-channel amp for B&K processor. Got the Oppo BR and am very happy with it.

It doesn't matter, but they came from the factory with the tweeters installed like the one in your picture.

    Those are called the leads.

Like F1 said, that's how they came from the factory, but it doesn't make a difference whether they're upside down or not.

I have a pair of Reynolds Advance A+ speakers that have the Peerless tweeters and they can only go in the right way. There are two notches in the hole cut out for the speaker leads that connect to the tweeter. The wires connect to the tweeter at the widest part of the V.

I bet they were a pair of B's. The grill cloth doesn't look that nice to me, but the drivers look good and they do come with the stands, so maybe he's not too far outa line.
Can't help you out with your power needs:(. I don't have anything that would help you out. Sorry.
