Sub not working with PS3

When I watch a blue ray disc on my PS3 my sub does not work. I have a Denon 2310 receiver connected with HDMI. Someone please help me!!! Thank you in advanced for the help.

    Does this problem of the subwoofer not working only happen during PS3 operation. and does this happen only when you watch blu-ray movies on your PS3?

    System setup on your remote->Scroll down to Speaker Setup->Speaker config and set each speaker to their sizes and on Subwoofer, choose YES.

    Another thing is, your crossover might be set too low on your receiver or subwoofer I.E. 40hz and the content youre watching is playing effects below that but your subwoofer isn't capable of reproducing them. That or your wiring isn't setup properly, unless this only happens when you're watching stuff from your ps3 but works for other sources.
