Some of you may know this -

I run the PA at my church and for many years, used an Adcom GFA-535 to power a pair of 15" JBL monitors along with two 12" Ramsa cabinets.

I want to use the DefTechs as a pair of monitors being driven by a Peavey powered mixer or Crest Audio CA4:

Would this work for the application? Attached is a picture of the rig.

polkaudio 255c-RT Inwalls
polkaudio DSWPro550WI
polkaudio XRT12 XM Tuner
polkaudio RM6750 5.1

Front projection, 2 channel, car audio... life is good!

I would not do that either. The Def Techs are very good speakers but more for referance and not for concert level audio listening.
Sunfire TGP, Sunfire Cinema Grand, Sunfire 300~2 (2), Sunfire True Sub (2),Carver ALS Platinum, Carver AL III, TFM-55, C-19, C-9, TX-8, SDA-490t, SDA-390t

This is not going to be for excessively loud levels, BTW.

The BP10b's I have are designed to reflect off the back wall. I don't think they would do much out in the open. You would be better off with a full range monitor.

Thanks. Looks like I'll have to use something else.

Anybody here have experience with the Mackie SRM450v2 vs. JBL EON G2?
