I am looking for a new rack, been using a target all wood cheap 100.00 rack for a little while now and want something a little better.
I was looking at these two as both would suit my needs. Tell me what you think or maybe you can suggest something different.

or this one?

I was seriously in the same position as you right now. Do you have a TV Stand and do you like matching your furniture?
I prefer the 2nd link. This is what I got. (This store is in IL only)

I've got the Vti BLG404 and love it. I haven't had any problems with the unit.

I am not too impress with these new type racks but the BL404 series seems to have a little bit more style than the BLG404 series (looks too commercial for my taste).
Cheers!

No tv stand i am planning to wall mount it. I'm moving my stuff into a bigger room and want just a rack to center under the tv/center channel.
Gonna have the tv fairly high then wall mount the center under that. Then have the audio rack.
I wanna give the speakers as much room to breath on the sides as i can.
But don't want to place the center on the rack because of the vibrations.Living Room Rig:D

BL404 gets my vote too, need to start saving my pennies, I like that one a lot.

I cant comment on the rack, but my VTI stands are very well built IMO. Almost as nice as my Sanus, but cost much less."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

I'm using the Salamander Synergy S40 in my 2 channel rig. You can customize it with and without sides, a back or a door or change the door to a frosted glass one. You can add casters, drawers, etc. The shelves are infinitely adjustable and hold a good amount of weight. Oh yeah, and you can get them in varying heights and widths

I have a Studiotech U-48 with casters for my HT setup and I really love it. The casters make it easy to move and the removable panels in the back make cord management a snap. It also fits large electronics, which I always seem to end up with. Granted, it's not cheap, but I think it's sturdy, well built and the wood finish is nice.

Not sure-I've just been putting my gear on the shelves. It doesn't have any mount points for rack mount screws-but it will fit rack mountable products--its got the clearance (as should any respectable rack).
I also bought a Middle Atlantic Rack frame for the purpose of rack mounting some equip. At the time I wasn't sure what I would use it for. If I decided to use it for my 2 ch rig, I was going to craft some side panels and trim frmo some nice hardwood. But I also bought the Salamander so I decided to use the MA Rack it in my 2nd Home Theater and will recess it into the wall.
They may have other models that may work for mounting.
I like the Salamander Archetype series as well. More open (note the Synergy Series above can also be open).
I've considered building my own from scratch in this style.

I like well built, natural racks. Something about the look and feel of them. Especially the ones with delicate curves and plenty of support.
